You are a lightning bolt to my heart
Fizzling, crackling, exploding with passion
When I leave, that face of beauty
Haunted me on my travels
Woke me in a sweat
I thought of nought but you.
I love you, not for hair, eyes, smile or beauty
But for love itself
You are my lightning
You enlighten me
