Remember
when I am gone
remember me
when I have passed.
Not for the pains
or troubles and strife
Nor for the gains
or wealth in your life.
Remember me for
the joys that I bring
the sorrows dispelled
and the songs that I sing.
And if you prefer
and it makes you at ease
do not be afraid
to forget me
and be pleased.
